SOME RECOMMENDATIONS
- Keep in mind that the optical prescription will determine how thick the lens will be. If your child has a high prescription, avoid large frames. The larger the frame, the thicker the lens will be. If you have any questions, ask us, as we can guide you in the best choice for your little one according to your child's eyeglasses prescription.
- Metal and plastic frames are made similarly in regards to their durability, weight, and cost. However, the metal components can vary between frames— so it is important to consult with us before deciding on the winning pair.
- The eye size in a frame is important, frames with an eye size of 40 to 48 are perfect for children the age of 4 to 6 years old, frames with eye sizes of 49 to 50 are perfect for children ages 8 to 12 and also teenagers. It all depends on your child's face.
